Brand Packaging

You are asked to develop, design and brand an item of packaging for SETTLE – create a survival kit for a recently arrived asylum seeker. Imagine it is something that is sold or given to people in that scenario. (You may change the name of your brand name if you wish). Through research you will determine the products or items this kit will contain a minimum of 3 separate items.

You must also consider the packaging of these individual items

The Survival Kit must be no larger than 148 x 105 x 105 mm

In your design process you must consider the entire lifecycle of the packaging and its relationship to the product: ie source, print, assemble, pack, preserve, ship, dis- play, purchase, use, recycle/dispose.

Chummies is a period survival kit for asylum seekers. The is completely sustainable with zero waste. The kit includes a pamphlet with instructions, cloth pads, a menstrual cup, laundry soap, perfume and a bucket.
