The Brief

Create excitement for non-English language content amongst UK audiences, and leverage this as a conversation driver for the audience.

Develop a campaign that gets more UK audiences to consider, explore, try watching and talk about non-English language films and series on Netflix. And the mediums you choose are completely up to you – they could be anything from a social through to experiential work.

18-34 year old entertainment lovers based all around the UK. Think about how your response can reach beyond London-centric audiences and instead speak to everyone, from a rural community through to a metropolitan borough.

My Campaign Concept

Munch a New Language

- See the promotion on Social Media or in public spaces
- Intrigued by a Netlix Vending Machine

- Spot one and play the quiz
- Collect a Munchie and take it home - Enjoy it it with the recommended content given with the Munchie.
- Enjoy a New Language along with that countries favourite snack fit for your content!

How the Vending Machine Works

The vending Machines will be located in major train stations in the UK. Anyone can access them. The Idea is that the individual answersthe short quiz on the veding machine and then a muncie or snack is given to them along with a card with 3 recommendations of tv shows/movies that fit their genre. But the catch is that they would be Non-English content. The snack would be related to the language of the content they were recommended. The snack choice given to them is also sweet or savoury based on the Genre of the recommendations.

The idea is to then take this snack home and watch it with the recommendations given.
This is to get people excited to watch a new language. This campaign will also be promoted in public spaces and on social media. The snack inside the packet is a mystery and will only be revealed once opened, so the curiousness is a method of motivation to get an individual to try a new language.

Location of Vending Machines: train stations were chosen as people all around the UK can then access them as many travel to different cities via train. They can also watch the content whilst on the train to keep them busy.
